Jamestown Schools PTO
We are excited to announce that the PTO has approved grants for teachers and staff for the 2023-2024 school year. Yay! Each teacher has been approved to receive $100.00 to help offset your school supply expenses.
We do have an Amazon and Walmart account that we can submit tax-free orders with. Please email jamestownripto@gmail.com if you'd like to proceed this way.
Just like in previous years, please reach out if you have a specific need in your classroom that exceeds this grant, or if you have other ideas.
Here's how it works:

Purchase supplies for your classroom (or ask us to purchase tax-free from Amazon or Walmart)

Complete this form.

Upload a copy of your itemized receipt and submit this form by March 1st. (This way we can use the unspent funds to support additional projects before year end)

Get reimbursed for up to $100 (unfortunately we can not reimburse tax - ask us to order for you from Amazon or Walmart)
Reimbursement checks will be processed and delivered to the school for you!
Submit this form and all supporting documents at least 1 week prior to the next scheduled PTO meeting. All PTO requests will be considered at the monthly PTO meetings. Once a request is approved by administration and the PTO, you will receive a check directly from the PTO; alternatively PTO will make the approved purchase on your behalf. Items can be purchased through our Non-Profit accounts with Amazon.com or Walmart. Please send us a link to what needs to be ordered. All appropriate invoices and receipts must be turned in to the PTO Treasurer for reimbursement.
Every effort is made by the PTO to be fair and equitable when considering funding requests for teachers, staff, and students. While the PTO would like to honor all requests for funds, we must balance requests against the available budget. The PTO gives preference to funding requests that will significantly impact the Jamestown Schools community. Every request is considered important, but a requested item or service must advance the PTO’s mission to foster the relationship between school, home, and community for the success of all of our students.
